Senior Structural Analyst
We are looking for a Senior Structural Analyst to join our client’s team in the shipbuilding industry.
Function
In this role, you will contribute to structural design and analysis, ensuring compliance with industry standards from the proposal phase to vessel delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural calculations and analysis for strength, stiffness, vibrations, and producibility.
- Ensure designs meet regulatory and client requirements.
- Support outsourced engineering, design reviews, and technical evaluations.
- Improve processes by developing standards and methodologies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in ship structures, preferably in shipbuilding or offshore industries.
- Knowledge of ship classification tools (e.g., DNV-GL Nauticus Hull, LR-SSC, BV MARS2000).
- Experience with FEM analysis (ANSYS, NX, FEMAP) and CAD systems (NUPAS, 3DX, Catia).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in English (Dutch is a plus).
