Lead Engineer Subsea Cables

Function
As a Lead Engineer, you will play a key role in planning and delivering offshore projects. Working from the office, you will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals from various disciplines and nationalities. We are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer with expertise in offshore cable installation, combining strong engineering knowledge with practical installation experience
Specific duties in this role include:
- Manage the engineering, planning, and execution of offshore projects.
- Create method statements to guide offshore operations.
- Review and approve engineering work, detailed reports, procedures, and manuals.
- Develop work packages for project preparation.
- Optimize and implement method statements on-site and take charge when needed.
- Address on-site project needs and respond to management questions.
- Oversee project planning, reporting, budgeting, and cost control.
Requirements
- Having a Bachelor or Master degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Dredging or Marine Engineering.
- At least 4 years of experience in offshore installation projects.
- Having experience with cable/umbilical installation projects is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
- Team player having the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Flexible to work abroad (offshore) or in the office.
