Integrated Logistics Support Engineer (Interim)

Function

In this position, you will be responsible for the ILS projects of the company’s naval vessels. The role is with focus on analyzing the technical documentation and the maintenance plans by teaming up with other departments in order to deliver ILS products at highest standards. The future ILS Engineer will report to the Project Manager ILS and will cooperate with the technical (design) department. The role is based in The Netherlands and is on a temporary agreement.

Specific duties in this role include:

  • Being responsible with the overall ILS analysis of the projects
  • Making thorough studies and reports on the reliability and maintainability of the naval equipment
  • Working on the ILS products by making the transfer of technology, training, documentation, RAM and LCC calculations, purchase and supply support
  • Ensuring that the ILS products are delivered in time, budget and relevant quality standards
  • Assisting with partly drafting and reviewing ILS proposals and helping on the improvement and development of ILS products, processes and methodologies
  • Preparing budget offers and estimations of projects costs
  • Preparing the ILS training materials for the technical equipment.

Requirements

As an ideal candidate you have experience in shipbuilding and you have solid technical knowledge of ship equipment. In addition, you meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in relevant field
  • Proven experience on working in ILS and with the development and execution of ILS packages within a technical environment
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, knowledge of Dutch language is considered a plus
  • Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required

Our client is a company active in the Shipbuilding Industry. They design and build various types of ships and they are well-known by their high-quality products.

Offer

Project-based position for the duration of 1 year (can be extended). The company offers you all necessary trainings to develop yourself along with 38 holiday days per year. The base salary for this position depends on your experience and capabilities. Furthermore, we provide all assistance to candidates who relocate to the Netherlands.
