HV Cable Design Manager

Function
As HV Cable Design Manager you will ensure that High Voltage Submarine Cable Systems for EPC subsea cable installation projects meet all requirements and specifications. You will work closely with suppliers, clients and internal teams to deliver quality systems.
Specific duties in this role include:
- Oversee the design and manufacturing of HV cables and accessories from the project tender phase through to delivery.
- Review technical design and manufacturing documentation with clients.
- Manage client reviews and ensure documentation approval is completed on schedule.
- Monitor Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Type Test Plans (TTPs).
- Support factory audits before manufacturing begins.
- Offer expert advice in case of non-conformities during production or testing.
- Stay updated on innovations in cables, accessories and monitoring systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in designing electrical power distribution equipment is an advantage.
- Interest in areas such as cable design, installation engineering, manufacturing and project management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
