Technical Specialist – Smart Maintenance
We are currently looking for a Technical Specialist with expertise in Smart Maintenance for complex shipbuilding projects.
Function
As a Technica Specialist in Smart Maintenance, you will work on innovative shipbuilding engineering projects. This role involves developing and implementing advanced maintenance solutions for ships, with focus on condition monitoring, data analysis and asset management for optimized maintenance.
Specific duties in this role include:
- Providing expert guidance and solutions for research, design, proposals and project execution
- Working in teams to select and implement advanced monitoring systems and sensors
- Collaborating in testing and validating maintenance solutions during research and production phases
- Conducting design reviews and delivering high-quality engineering work
- Supporting the ongoing project improvements on processes and tools
Requirements
- Having a BSc degree or MSc degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering coupled with knowledge or affinity toward Electrical Engineering and Automation
- Minimum 5 years of experience in condition monitoring and smart maintenance
- ISO 18436-2 (III) certification or equivalent experience
- Strong collaboration skills with research institutes, universities, engineering teams, preferably in shipbuilding
