Structural Designer

Function
As a Structural Designer, you will work on a broad variety of tasks in the field of ship structures. You will be involved in basic engineering preparing plans and outer deck arrangements. During the detailed design, you will be responsible for foundation fabrication models and drawings.
Specific duties in this role include:
- Preparing drawings and modelling using 2D and 3D CAD tools
- Cooperating with the team to find the best solutions
- Ensuring compliance and assisting with technical solutions in design.
Requirements
We are looking for mechanical/shipbuilding design engineers in Secondary vocational education (MBO-4) or BSc, with at least 2 years of experience as Structural Designer.
- Experience in shipbuilding or offshore
- Proficiency in working with 2D and 3D software such as CADMATIC Hull, SolidWorks or Catia
- Being able to work independently.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English language.

Offer
The company offers you all necessary training to develop yourself along with 38 holiday days per year. The base salary for this position depends on your experience and capabilities. Furthermore, we provide all assistance to candidates who relocate to the Netherlands.
