Senior Health & Safety Coordinator
Are you passionate about ensuring safety and well-being in the workplace? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a team as a Senior Health & Safety Coordinator.
Function
Together with other Health & Safety Coordinators, you’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing Health & Safety policy. As the Senior Coordinator, you’ll be the primary point of contact for the department, setting guidelines and providing direction to your colleagues. You’ll serve as the main contact for all employees, ensuring that safety procedures are effectively implemented and practiced. Your day-to-day tasks will vary, from organizing safety training to responding to incidents and conducting onboard inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
Specific duties of this role:
- Developing and maintaining procedures and regulations.
- Collaborating with management to establish Health & Safety policy.
- Maintaining accurate records of Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RI&E).
- Identifying and addressing unsafe situations.
- Monitoring policy implementation and serving as a resource for Health & Safety inquiries.
Requirements
- BSc in Safety Science or a related field.
- Experience in a technical production-oriented organization
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Customer-focused and results-oriented.
