Function

As a Project Preparator, you will ensure that materials are available at the right place and time, acting as a crucial coordinator between suppliers (both internal and external) and internal customers. Your ability to accurately interpret drawing packages and monitor the flow of materials is essential to the success of the service projects. You will serve as a central point of contact for all material-related aspects during service operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Classify and organize materials into the correct phases using Trimergo software.
  • Verify the feasibility and scheduling of material supplies.
  • Prepare and distribute information packages for various disciplines.
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive material forecasts.
  • Review parts lists for completeness and accuracy.
  • Prepare purchase orders and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Develop creative solutions for delivery and production challenges.

Requirements

  • MBO(+) working and thinking level with education in maritime technology, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering.
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a project-driven production environment.
  • Enthusiastic and proactive personality with strong leadership skills.
  • Capable of driving improvements and guiding colleagues towards achieving goals.
