Project Manager Design
We are currently looking for a Project Manager Design with experience in the maritime or high-end yachting industry.
Function
In this position, you play a key role in the project team by ensuring the successful design and construction of high-end luxury yachts.
Specific duties in this role include:
- Reviewing and performing strength calculations during both the initial design and project development phases
- Coordinating and managing progress on subcontracted design work, including reviewing third-party designs
- Developing and managing drawings with subcontractors
- Ensuring collaboration between internal and external experts to improve efficiency and profitability
- Being updated and having good knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, certification processes and yard standards
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the maritime or yacht-building industry
- A team player with passion for learning and collaboration
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
