Junior Project Manager Design

Function
We are looking for a Junior Project Manager Design to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the design phase of cutting-edge yacht projects and work closely with subcontractors, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional results.
- Collaborate with project teams to manage the design process for large yacht projects.
- Review and oversee ship systems design during both the concept and development phases.
- Coordinate subcontracted design work and ensure progress aligns with project timelines.
- Manage and review design information provided by third parties and integrate it into project plans.
- Work with subcontractors to develop and manage technical drawings.
- Transfer design insights and knowledge from development phases to project execution teams.
- Ensure all design work complies with relevant laws, regulations, certification requirements, and industry standards.
- Align and monitor internal and external expertise to maximize efficiency and ensure project profitability.
Requirements
- At least BSc (e.g., naval architecture) with relevant work experience.
- 5–7 years of experience in the maritime or yacht-building industry.
- Strong leadership qualities, including a strategic mindset, problem-solving skills, and conflict resolution abilities.
- A comprehensive understanding of the design and development process for complex projects.
- Proactive and solutions-oriented, with a passion for excellence.
- A team player who thrives in collaborative environments and is eager to learn.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
