Business Development Manager (80k)
We are seeking a dedicated Business Development Manager from maritime sector to manage long-term relationships with current clients and develop new business opportunities in Europe.
Function
As a Business Development Manager (maritime) you will work closely with clients to understand their needs, identify sales opportunities, and introduce new products to current customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Research and identify new market opportunities and strategies.
- Initiate partnerships and explore potential business opportunities.
- Present products to potential clients, collaborating with sales and marketing for impactful strategies.
- Act as an expert on company products and stay updated on industry trends.
- Analyze sales reports and KPIs, identifying ways to optimize sales and exceed targets.
- Share customer insights and industry knowledge to uncover new opportunities.
- Develop actionable sales plans to drive regional growth.
- Schedule regular client meetings to strengthen relationships within the region.
- Generate regular sales reports and analysis for strategic decisions.
- Maintain an individual sales pipeline and update CRM systems to track progress.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management or business development.
- Proven experience in market research and sales strategy.
- Experience in maritime sector.
- Skilled in CRM systems, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with a proactive mindset and a focus on meeting targets.
- Self-driven, confident, and goal-oriented.
