Quality Assurance Engineer

Functie

In this position, you will oversee and optimize the quality assurance processes for assigned shipbuilding projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and supporting continuous improvement.

Specific duties in this role include:

• Ensure proper application of quality management principles, protocols, and processes.
• Implement and oversee project-specific improvements in QA procedures.
• Contribute to the adaptation and application of established QA standards.
• Maintain and update the QA registration system to ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Participate in project and departmental progress meetings.
• Regularly update project management on the QA status and any incident mitigation.

Voorwaarden

We are looking for a candidate with 3+ years of relevant experience with quality management, preferably in the naval, defence or shipbuilding industry. Furthermore, the following requirements should be met:

• BSc or MSc degree in (Technical) Business Administration or other relevant study.
• Experienced with manufacturing techniques and processes, preferably in the naval shipbuilding industry.
• Good command of the English language (both spoken and written).
• EU citizenship.

The company offers you all necessary trainings to develop yourself along with 38 holiday days per year. The base salary for this position depends on your experience and capabilities. Furthermore, we provide all assistance to candidates who relocate to the Netherlands.
