Project Lead Electrical (project-based)

Functie

As a Project Lead Electrical you are responsible for the electrical aspects of superyacht construction from contract to warranty. Based at our esteemed shipyard, you will oversee the technical design, create technical request specifications, and assess supplier solutions. You will ensure all electrical issues are managed effectively, providing project support, engineering support, standardization, service and refit support, supplier selection, calculations, innovations, and compliance with flag state and class regulations.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the electrical design and implementation for superyacht projects.
• Develop technical request specifications and evaluate supplier solutions.
• Collaborate with managers throughout various construction phases.
• Serve as the electrical project owner, advising and coordinating with designers and suppliers.
• Translate customer and architect requirements into feasible solutions, monitoring associated costs.
• Manage the construction process from contract to delivery, ensuring adherence to agreements.
• Coordinate with all involved parties.

Voorwaarden

We are looking for a candidate with excellent technical and coordinating skills and with experience in a similar yacht projects.

• Knowledge of the yacht building process, knowledge of system integration.
• BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with project-based work.
• Good command of the English language, Dutch is a plus.
