Project Engineer Exterior

Functie
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop exterior systems and structures for luxury yachts, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and performance.
- Collaborate closely with naval architects, designers, and other engineering disciplines to integrate exterior systems seamlessly.
- Conduct feasibility studies, design reviews, and risk assessments to ensure the reliability and safety of exterior components.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for exterior systems.
- Oversee the installation and testing of exterior systems, providing technical support and troubleshooting as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant maritime regulations, industry standards, and our internal quality control processes.
- Participate in project meetings, providing updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve exterior engineering practices and technologies.
Voorwaarden
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in exterior engineering, preferably within the luxury yacht or maritime industry.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino, SolidWorks) and other engineering tools.
- Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes relevant to yacht construction.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Familiarity with maritime regulations and industry standards.
