Process Manager (shipbuilding projects)

Functie

In this position, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing processes to meet project goals in line with contractual requirements. You will guide and motivate the team, act as a process expert and ensure efficient collaboration within the project organization. Your efforts will drive value-added execution and process improvements across the project.

Specific duties in this role include:

• Developing and overseeing a strategic plan for process execution and optimization.
• Implementing and managing key processes such as Risk Management, Configuration Management, Supply Chain, and Data Exchange.
• Acting as the main point of contact for process-related queries and issues.
• Ensuring coordination and consistency in processes across sub-projects and external stakeholders.
• Monitoring progress and ensuring timely delivery of process-related outputs.
• Supporting process owners by providing necessary resources and guidance.
• Collaborating with teams to identify and implement process improvements.

Voorwaarden

• BSc or MSc in Business Process Management or a relevant technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in process management, ideally in shipbuilding or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Business Process Management standards and methodologies.
• Experience managing complex projects using systems engineering approaches.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement frameworks.
• Proven leadership skills in technology-driven, process-oriented environments.
• Excellent communication skills in English. Speaking Dutch is a strong asset.
