Functie
As Cranes Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the technical performance of fixed cranes on offshore ships. You will provide expert support, ensure systems are maintained to high standards, and collaborate with teams to keep operations safe and efficient.
Specific duties in this role include:
- Act as the main point of contact for suppliers and repair facilities for crane-related technical issues.
- Stay up to date with the latest innovations and updates in crane technology.
- Develop maintenance and repair standards to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Create and prepare work orders and maintenance plans.
- Collaborate with suppliers and service providers for system improvements.
Voorwaarden
- A degree in mechanical engineering is preferred, and experience with offshore cranes is a big plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in a mechanical environment (experience with cranes is ideal).
- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Willingness to work in the office (80% of the time) and on-site during project execution phases.
- Flexible to relocate to Belgium.
