Proposal and Cost Estimator

Functie
In this position, you will play a pivotal role in the Services department by analyzing client requirements and providing accurate cost estimations for maritime project requests. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing compelling proposals that meet the needs of the clients while ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.
Specific duties in this role include:
- Analyzing in detail all the requirements and specifications in order to understand the scope of the project
- Making estimation costs of materials, labor, equipment, and resources for proposed services and assessing the costs of changes
- Working in close collaboration with the Customer Services Manager and other departments to gather necessary technical information
- Preparing detailed proposals of cost estimations, timelines, and technical specifications for the projects
- Anticipating, identifying and evaluating the potential risks and being able to propose mitigation strategies
- Being able to make own market research in order stay updated on industry trends, pricing trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes
- Creating, collecting and maintaining comprehensive documentation related to cost estimation and proposal development
Voorwaarden
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience on working with ILS and LCM systems and making cost estimations for services supporting the naval industries
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, knowledge of Dutch language is considered a plus
- Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required
