Configuration and Process Manager

Functie

In this position, you will play a crucial role in standardizing and optimizing configuration management processes across the organization. You will drive change management initiatives, ensuring compliance, efficiency and consistency in project execution. You will also act as the internal authority on CM leading the adoption of best practices across teams and stakeholders.

Specific duties in this role include:

• Develop and implement end-to-end configuration management processes, integrating them into the company management system.
• Establish and maintain Configuration Management Plans for tenders and projects.
• Oversee CM processes, submitting change requests to the Change Control Board.
• Lead configuration management strategies for new projects, collaborating with customers, partners, and co-makers to ensure consistency.
• Manage data and information exchange with external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Conduct audits on project deliverables, ensuring proper revision control and distribution of technical documentation.
• Report to management on CM topics, providing expert advice and solutions.

Voorwaarden

• Having a BSc or MSc in Process Management or a relevant technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing engineering processes, ideally in shipbuilding or a related field.
• Extensive expertise in configuration management,
• Proven ability to lead, inspire, and coach teams in adopting new CM practices.
• Experience with Configuration Management tools such as Enovia and 3DX.
• Excellent communication skills in English. Speaking Dutch is a strong asset.
