Senior Electrical Engineer
We are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience in complex engineering projects in the shipbuilding industry.
Functie
As the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and keeping all the ship’s systems operational by developing the power distribution, making calculations and the cable routing.
Specific duties in this role include:
- Developing drawings and the basic engineering documentation of the electrical system on the vessel
- Being responsible for the specification documents of the electrical components and installation process
- Writing the test and validation plans compliant with Class regulations and meeting requirements during simulations and testing
- Developing working methods for detailed engineering and commissioning
- Offering support for the Proposal department with concept design of electrical systems
Voorwaarden
We are looking for electrical engineers with at least five years of experience in designing complex electrical systems in the maritime or industrial installations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in designing electromagnetic compatibility compliant solutions
- Experience working in a model-based system engineering environment (MBSE) according to the V-model
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English language
