Verification & Validation Lead – Automation & Electrical

Function
In this position, you will be part of the engineering team, responsible for the seamless integration and validation of automation and electrical systems for shipbuilding projects. You will oversee Verification & Validation activities, coordinate engineering teams, and drive technical excellence in subcontracted work packages.
Specific duties in this role include:
- Oversee and coordinate a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technical specialists.
- Ensure seamless integration of electrical and automation systems, guaranteeing compliance with specifications and industry standards.
- Manage client documentation reviews, ensuring approvals align with project timelines and quality standards.
- Lead design reviews, resolve technical issues, and make sure engineering best practices are followed.
- Plan, prepare, and manage Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Harbor Acceptance Tests (HAT), and Sea Acceptance Tests (SAT).
- Serve as expert for system integration, making sure everything runs smoothly and engineering solutions are delivered successfully.
Requirements
- Having a BSc or MSc in engineering or other relevant technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the design of high-tech complex products.
- Strong knowledge of automation, electrical integration, and control systems within complex engineering projects.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams and manage complex project deliverables.
- Customer oriented, able to motivate engineers and communicating with partners & suppliers.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
